Waeza brings extensive experience in regulatory policy development, stakeholder engagement and policy research, and analysis on a variety of social and urban issues.  In the regulatory sector she provided important policy analysis on regulatory reforms, governance, and emerging issues and trends in the sector.  She has also developed strategies for housing, local economic development, and social enterprise development, and has applied design thinking and people centred engagement methods to public consultations. 

 

Waeza completed her undergraduate studies in Philosophy at the University of Toronto (St. George) and pursued an MSc. in Sustainability Studies from King’s College London in the U.K., where she attained scholarship in the field of urban policy and sustainable environmental management.
